The Laying on of Hands with Prayer for Healing is regularly offered at Trinity Cathedral. Anointing the sick with oil (unction), or laying on of hands, is the rite by which God’s grace is given for the healing of the spirit, body and mind. Prayer for the sick and the laying on of hands, with or without oil is offered by the clergy when they visit the sick. The Laying on of Hands with Prayers for Healing is also offered at the Cathedral each Sunday after the 8:00 a.m. service, during the Eucharist at the 10:30 a.m. service, and during the Thursday noon Eucharist. You can ask for prayers for yourself or for others who are in need of God’s help.
