WHO ARE WE?
We are called. We are different. We are of one body.
We are Episcopal and Anglican Church Women called to be witnesses of Christ, committed to one another and committed to living out our Cathedral’s “Special Resolution” by welcoming any and all who enter our doors. Our challenge is to provide a safe place where every person comes to know the love of God, becomes the person Christ created them to be, and serves in the grace of the Holy Spirit.
OUR PURPOSE
The purpose of our organization is to encourage, assist, and empower the women of Trinity Cathedral to carry on Christ’s work of reconciliation in the world and to take their place as leaders in the life, governance and worship of our church and our dioceses.
OUR GOALS
To support the continued efforts of preservation and beautification of our historical Trinity Cathedral through our needlepoint projects; to continue our ministry to children and their families through our Nativity Tree Project; to continue our Rosebud Ministry which provides premature infant interment layettes to community hospitals; and to be of service to those in need throughout our community and our dioceses.
ADVANTAGES
Some of the advantages of becoming active in the CCW are: spiritual enrichment through worship service, Bible studies and workshops; social fellowship through group activities within our parish, community and dioceses; and individual fulfillment through service to people within our parish, community and dioceses. Share your talent, time, treasure, interest and concerns with others. As a woman, in your own unique way, you play a vital role in the Body of Christ, His Church. The CCW offers you the opportunity to be not only a receiver but a giver!
WHERE AND WHEN DO WE MEET?
We meet in the 3rd Floor Conference Room of the Cathedral on Wednesdays at the end of each month. Our time together begins with lunch at 11:15 a.m. and attendance at the 12:05 p.m. Holy Eucharist service in St. Mary’s Chapel followed by our meeting.
If you have any questions or wish additional information please call the Cathedral Office at 412-232-6404 x 156 or Judy Barone at 412-646-2000.
