There are a number of positions on Cathedral Chapter which need to be filled for the next church year (2014-2015). In order to ensure balanced representation of Parish members and At-Large Diocesan members WE NEED VOLUNTEERS TO SERVE!
Please pray about whether the Lord is calling you to serve in this way. Dean Quinn and Senior Warden will be speaking to you over the next number of weeks to discern your interest and commitment to serve on Cathedral Chapter. A description of the duties and responsibilities for a Cathedral Chapter member, as well as for Deputies and Alternate Deputies to Diocesan convention, can be found on the website under the Parish Life tab..
Sunday November 9th kicks off our annual CHRISTMAS GIVING TREE project. In partnership with Lydia’s Place, we will be collecting Christmas gifts for children and for caregivers in families with an incarcerated parent. If you work Downtown, or are visiting in the Downtown area during the day, we invite you to our Noontime Eucharist Service, starting at 12:05p.m. Held in St. Mary’s Chapel these services are intimate and liturgical. The service lasts less than 30 minutes, allowing you ample time to worship and to return to your day’s activities. Whether you are a parishioner of Trinity Cathedral, a member of another church or congregation, or just a visitor to Pittsburgh, we welcome you to join us. On Thursdays, we conduct a Healing Service in conjunction with our Noon Eucharist. We look forward to you joining us in noontime praise at Trinity Cathedral.
